So, this is one of my last blogs or is. I’m not for sure if I’m going to continue doing this or not, but these was very fun. For this blog I just felt like talking about my dream trip that I want to take so bad in my life.

I don’t know why I want to take this trip really, it just seemed like a very nice place looking at magazines at a young age. One thing that probably made me really want to go there was watching ruby with my dad one day. The people talking said it was a great place that was very beautiful. At a young age hearing that from an adult that has been there had me trusted him and it just made me want to go ever since then.

New Zealand a great place to take with friends or family for a good long trip. Long trips will be very expensive, but I think it’s worth it with everything that you’ll see there. If you like hiking this place has trains and hills that you can climb up to see great views of nature. The varmints are very beautiful and breathtaking that will make you want to not leave the view once you see it. Many people say that the ocean is one of their best things there. From all the pictures I’ve seen the water is very clean and looks very soothing to the skin.

For movie fans out there this is the place where Lord of the Rings was filmed. One of the movies that changed movies that was see today in many ways with technology and other things. If you go on Google you might be able to find the location they film certain parts.

I just hope one day I’ll have enough money to visit my dream trip.

One of the most busiest and booming places to go visit. Why I chose LA was because I haven’t really done anything on the West Coast so far in all my blogs. I just thought it might be a great place to visit after so many people that I know have gone there this year. All I’ve heard so far was it was a great trip and there was a lot of fun to have there. You can go with your family or friends it doesn’t really matter who you go with it’s a great time they all say. I kind of have to believe them because in every photo everyone was smiling.

Why not go see Universal Studios Hollywood and get to see all the movie sets. You don’t know, you might run into a celebrity or someone famous. It’s a place that you will bump into someone even though you might not know them. If you like movies this might be a great place to have a tour of.

Most of the people that went to LA that I knew went to Disneyland a place I haven’t been to. They said it was the best part of the trip. But I can’t deny that everyone likes Disney World or Disneyland. Everyone that went to LA said that any of the hotels in Disneyland were great and doesn’t matter which one you choose to stay at. A lot of them didn’t leave Disneyland because there was so many things to do there and so much great food they had to eat. If I went on this trip I would want to not stay in one location and view some of the sites that they have in the city. My big saying is every place is different no matter what you think.

Last weekend I went to the World War 1 Museum in Kansas City. It was a very great time I had with my Uncle. It was very sad listening to some of the letters that people were reading and also thinking about how people want to change the history that we learned. The real reason why I wanted to plan a trip for DC was because I was thinking about going to the World War 2 Museum. What I’ve been told by most people that work at the World War 1 Museum that it is very incredible and it is a must see place.

A lot of my friends have been there and they tell me that it’s one of the greatest places to visit. They went there for school reasons but they also had a great time visiting the sites.
If you are a site sear this is a great location to go to. I would probably say one of the sites I would want to see would be the World War 2 Museum or maybe the Smithsonian Institution Offices. I probably want to go see some of the animals that they have at their Zoo and also look at some of the research that a lot of people have done. Yes, it might sound crazy that I want to look at some research. I like to learn sometimes even though it is a trip to have fun. On a trip you always want to plan something you want to do and if someone else comes with you try to do something you both want to do. Why not try to plan a tour through the White House and see how the president lives and work. I would probably want to see how the president lives it’s kind of a interesting job for someone to have. Why not planned a week trip there.

It’s been a very long time since I’ve been to Minnesota and there’s always one place I will remember in that state. The biggest and most busy place is Minneapolis. It’s home of the Minnesota Golden Gophers college. You might be wondering why I was up there and the reason why was to look at the beautiful college.

If you do decide to go there make sure you know what the weather is like. When I went there to visit the college my phone told me that it would be 70 but, it ended up being freezing cold the whole time there. You might see people wearing shorts and t-shirts but, just keep in mind that they are use to the weather there. My one jacket and jeans weren’t enough to keep me warm from the cold.

There are a very large ranges of restaurants that are all over the block. You have one side of the city basically Italian food and the other part being mix with different kinds of food. My favorite restaurant would probably be this Mexican restaurant that I had the best Pork tacos and nachos I have ever had in my life. It was so good that later that night I went back to the same restaurant and ordered the same thing. They have some weird designs of buildings that are out the box compared to Kansas. This one building had a CVS underneath and a lot of different stuff above it other than housing.

Some of my tips

• probably dress for any kind of weather you don’t really know what’s going to happen.
• have the money for whatever is going to happen there
• Get to know some people there
• Prep for plan B and also have a plan B
• Plan on booking your hotel in advance

 

You might be confused why I’m calling it a holiday. I’m not talking about Halloween. My German roots come out in October. There’s only one major holiday for people from Germany and that’s Oktoberfest. Even though it’s not October anymore, the reason why I’m talking about is because of my dad coming back from a German trip. Over the years my dad has been trying to get me to take off work or school to be able to spend a whole month in Germany having a great time. I always tell him that education always comes first over partying. That’s kind of a lie because that’s not my motto. But right now my motto is finish college so, I can get a good job.

Berlin in Germany is a pretty place and there’s a lot of stuff that you can learn about. Every year he always sends me pictures on this phone of the Berlin. If you do go on this trip a must see is the Berlin Wall. It’s probably one of the great wonders a human being has ever built. If I had to say a date to go see the wall I would probably say October. The weather would be great and I just have a feeling that it would be great.

This is probably going to be a pretty expensive trip because of the flight being hard to find for a good price. It might even be harder to find a flight because of a lot of people maybe going to Germany for Oktoberfest. I would probably say on your flight over there to learn a little bit of German but, you don’t have to if you don’t want to. Just go over there and have a blast while meeting new people even though they might be drunk.

For this post I’m two days late because I was on a trip and I really wanted to talk about that today. This is a normal trip for me going to Southeast Kansas. I go down there a lot because I have family down there and I like to see them or help them out if they can’t do the thing. But this time it was special because this time they had a event called Neewollah these weekend. I would probably call these a trip and not a Vacation.

vacation to me is about a week plus long that you don’t have to worry about anything. On the other hand a trip is a short time and you might have to worry about getting back to work or family. For this trip it took about two days for me to enjoy peace and quiet away from work. There is a parade that happens at 11 and ends about 2 pm with music playing. They have a lot of fried foods and it might be expensive but it’s really enjoyable to have a fried Oreo.

For a trip it can be pretty pricey even though you try not to send so much money compared to a vacation. This trip most of the time it’s always freezing cold, but it was warm and felt nice to not have to wear a jacket. I mainly only needed a pair of jeans and a decent nice shirt. Some other clothes in my bag  just to change if the weather got cold. I probably spent about $45 dollars all together with food and tickets to ride rides. But the bad part was some of the rides started to smoke and break down slowly. With the rides breaking down that just made the lines for the food a lot longer to wait. The one thing that happens every year is the hotels being booked 3 months in advance because of how many bands show up. Great trip and a fun time.

When I think of Missouri there’s only two places that I would want to go to. The one I am going to talk about is Branson in south west Missouri. I’ve been there a lot over the years with family or friends. There’s always new places to go to and old places to revisit.

 

 

For me and my family we for most of the time go back to some of the old places we like. One of those places being Top of the Rocks a place that Bass Pro owns that has a great view of everything in Branson. Over the years Johnny Morris the owner of Bass Pro has been improving everything in the area of Branson and the places he owns. At Top of the Rocks they have many restaurants but, the best one you have to have a reservation that can take up to a month to get a table. I would probably say if you do go to Branson this is a must because it’s a great place to go to. It’s a little expensive but it’s worth the cost of the food. Also, when it’s sunset they will shoot a cannon off everyday.

 

One thing my family likes to do the most is going to one of the old western photo places. This has been a family tradition ever since I’ve been a baby. My mom always like seeing me wear cowboy boots and hat. Also, going putt putt golf or the race track is a pretty fun thing to do with friends or family. There’s this one place if you like roller coasters you can go to and that is Silver Dollar City. Comparing them to Worlds of Fun it’s about the same all around. they have some similar rides and some different ones but, they’re all fun to ride. A great trip to take a year.

It came up pretty weird why I’m going to blog about New York this time. There is probably a couple reasons why I picked this but, the big reason is because of pro baseball. If you didn’t see the game then you wouldn’t know that New York loss to the Boston Red Sox. But I’ll probably talk to the Red Sox next time if they lose or they win it all. Let’s stop talking about the game and get back on planning a trip.

Only have been to New York once and I thought it was an okay place to be at. To me it had some good parts and a lot of bad parts that I went to. This is my opinion but, you might enjoy it if you give it a chance. It just wasn’t what I thought it would be like. The bad part on my judgment was trying to compare it to Kansas City that is a lot smaller. I went by plane that left late and I got there around a dark midnight. It was a nice clean airport that was very quiet. When I took my first step outside he got very noisy and it was bright.

One of the first person I met there was a taxi driver and he was a nice guy that give me some information about the city. Just like I said in other blogs meeting people can help you learn more about the place and give you interesting locations to visit. I didn’t really plan a hotel but, he had a hotel for a great price and a great view the driver said.

Just one thing to say before the end of this blog is to just have fun and be opened to what happens in the big City.

 

Well lately it has been getting cold in Kansas so, I  thought it would be a good time to pick somewhere that might be an interesting place to go to. It might be getting a little too cold in Alaska but it’s one of the most beautiful places that you can visit.

I really don’t know why I thought of Alaska but it just popped in my head today for some reason. It might be because of all the hockey I’ve been watching or the crab fisherman that have been coming into my work lately. This is probably going to be an interesting blog that will make it tempting to not go to Alaska when it will probably cost a lot of money. I’ve been looking at plane tickets to Canada all ready for my trip for next year and it’s very expensive. So basically, I’m pretty sure it’s double the amount because it’s a longer distance.

During the night Alaska has one of the great wonders of the World that is the Northern Lights. A light show that is not made from human but, just occurs in nature. Just imagine sitting outside looking up in the sky and seeing these beautiful lights that look like they’re dancing. But there are other things that are just as beautiful as the lights are. The mountains are pretty beautiful when they have snow on them what I can see from images on Google. I would probably say the best place to stay would be an area that is somewhat populated but, also has a resort or some log cabin place you can stay at. I would probably say a lot of people go to Alaska because they are Hunters and they want a different experience then normal. I’m not going to say what to bring because I don’t really know what to bring. So if you do plan on going to Alaska I would be looking at the weather because I don’t want to freeze to death or lose a body part.

What is one place in the US that always has big things? If you said Texas you are right. I thought about Texas today because I found out one of my co-workers used to live in Texas. My family always if we can’t find or decide we go to Texas. But most of the times that we go was on the coast because we like the ocean. You can’t really go bad with a great view that has water. My co-worker told me a couple of interesting places that I would enjoy that I haven’t been to. Just like I said before in other blogs that people around you can give you tips and advice to go to on a trips. But just like always the restaurants are the best places out of all of them they give you.

Probably the best vacation spot in Texas is Galveston. It has a great ocean view and the pier is pretty beautiful when it’s sunset. They have many great hotels but, there is only three that are that great to stay at. The San Luis Resort is a 4.2 star hotel. It has one of the top spas and one of the prettiest night lights that just make the place beautiful. They have a decent restaurant that serves a wide variety of foods and other smaller restaurant that are cheaper. Holiday Inn Club Vacations Galveston Seaside Resort on the other hand is more for kids. With a huge pool and a putt putt golf area it’s a kids paradise even with the ocean being right there. Last for all would probably be my favorite is the Moody Gardens Hotel with 4.4 stars. It’s just a all around great hotel but, it has one of the most beautiful views in Texas.
